I've been off line for the last 19-20 hours. I had a tremendous storm last night between 5:00 and 6:00. Horrible wind that made the house shake, 1.2 inches of rain in less than an hour, thunder and lightening overhead that didn't scare just Jazi! I was ducking, and the other dogs were glued to my side!
When it was over, I was on the computer and suddenly lost the net. I did all the tasks to assure that it wasn't in my house, then called the company. They determined that it wasn't at their end, leaving a question about what was actually going on. It was bumped upstairs to engineering.
I hate being without a computer with online aqccess!!!!
So an hour ago, Carlos came to the rescue! He ran checks on all the lines and modem with nothing showing up, but installing a new modem solved the problem. Interesting that the modem check didn't show that it was faulty, but ....
Bottom line?
I'M BAAAAAAAAACK!!!!
Well I am VERY glad you are back! Isn't it weird how much trouble a computer can be and how necessary!!!

ReplyDeleteI've said it before .... we don't realize how much we use them till they aren't working as they should. Computers are like men .... can't live with them, can't live without them!!!
