These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Three. Five. What's in a number, anyway?

Apparently, there is more than I anticipated.

OK, this is day three without meds (anti-inflamatory) for arthritis and fibromyalgia, and I'm beginning to really feel it. My joints are feeling stiffer and achy, and my muscles are feeling it. Just five more days. That's all, just five.

Keep saying the mantra with me .... Just five more.

  1. Hang in there. You can do it. I'll cheer you on.

  2. LOL! As if I have a choice!! Oh, I know I can do it, but it's just one of those things that kinda sucks about having surgery. Thanks for the cheers!

  3. I am so sorry can your doctor give you a shot of something to calm the muscles down and keep the joints free just a thought. I can so relate to you.

  4. Bobbie, I don't know about that. Most meds that do that, at least to my knowledge, have to be stopped because the have a tendency to thin the blood, therefore, can't be given near surgery. I figure I can do this. If it were a long time, it would be different, but a few days? I'll be OK. I know you understand this, but I also know your situation is far more serious and painful than mine. Thank you for your kindness. :)

  5. Saying your mantra and giving you lots of cyber hugs, gently. This really will all behind you soon. Hang in there and focus on your beautiful views. Your views really tell the whole story.

  6. Oh, Cheryl, thank you. I do have it good, don't I?

    Just 4 more days .....

  7. I will be so happy for you when this damn surgery is over and done with. Hang tough dear.

If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
