• Give me companionship, affection, and freedom.
• Engage with me in stimulating conversation and laughter.
• Appreciate my grand visions and listen to my stories.
• Don't try to change my style. Accept me the way I am.
• Be responsible for youself. I dislike clingy or needy people.
• Don't tell me what to do.

Whatever a "seven" is, I think I might be one.
ReplyDeleteI just want to give you a little background on my friends,Bruce and Shelly. On October 16, they were hit head on by a drunk driver. Bruce suffered a broken wrist, elbow and shoulder in his left arm. Also a broken left femur. In the first 24 hours, it was discovered that he had a broken back and was diagnosed as paraplegic. After emergency surgery to repair the broken back, the prognosis was better. He spent 6 weeks in intensive care on a ventilator.
In the course of a cat scan after the accident, it was discovered that Shelly had a growth on her ovary which turned out to be stage 1 ovarian cancer. Without the accident, her prognosis would have been very bleak.
That's a nutshell description of what happened to them. They are among our very dearest friends. It was hard for me to leave them this winter. They are making progress, but there is a lot of really emotional stuff going on in their lives. If you are a praying person, and I believe you are, please pray for them.

Oh, Pam! What a story. The blessing/bane of it all for Shelly and Bruce is incredible., Oh my. I'll keep them in my prayers.

I vacillated on one question, not certain between two answers, so went back and redid it, but it was less accurate than this.
