These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Another step ....

One step closer! It's actually on its way! See that top line? Da TV has left da location, a-huh-huh!

The info says it is estimated to be delivered on 7/1, just day after tomorrow! Wooo hooo!

I knew you'd all want to be kept up the minute on this. LOL! OK, OK, the form says the next update won't be till tomorrow, so don't sweat it. I will try to contain my excitement and not bug you again about this today, alright?

  2. You know, Di, I think the most interesting and exciting thing is how fast the order was processed and is moving. It amazes me! I was totally prepared to be limited in my TV viewing, especially this time of year, and I'm just so impressed!

    I know, I'm silly! LOL!

  3. Wow. This is ironic. I just commented on a blog written by a blogger who ditched her TV long ago and never watches TV anymore. I'm not a huge fan of TV-watching either but I miss it when I don't have a TV at all to watch (when the power is out, for example).

I hope you enjoy your new TV.

  4. Dave, I actually think I don't watch a lot either, but as you say, there are times that I miss it a lot, and usually when the break from it is out of my control!

  5. I can get attached to having the tv on just for background noise. I never used to need that but in the past few years I have found myself turning on the tv for no good reason! I must need to drown out the voices in my head....ha!

  6. Sometimes I like the voices, other time, I need to make 'em shut up!

If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
