These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Sorry. More clouds.

I worked in Linda's shop today. Big day. I sold $2.50 of merchandise! Sheesh.

On the way home I was, once again, admiring the clouds. I do that a lot, don't I? I can't help it!

Lawdy. The sky was so blue and the clouds were magnificent, ranging from dark grey to pure white.
This cloud, the one almost in the middle fascinated me, so I stopped an took a shot of it. It wasn't till I got home, downloaded it to the computer and looked again that I noticed the face in it! Do you see it?
Same cloud, closer up. Do you see the face? It reminds me of pictures of "The North Wind," except this was in the South, so I suppose it would be "The South Wind"!
Nuttin' special, just beautiful clouds over the Sierra Blancas.
This was taken almost straight up. The cloud was SO white and the sky was SO blue!
Then I saw the sun was behind this cloud, and stopped again. I love the way the light beams show up.
More sunbeams.
Mercy, mercy, mercy. Yes, I do love it here.

  1. Kinda looks like a fish wearing a wig or something in the first shot. Then again I have a weird imagination.

  5. Please don't apologize! I love clouds - especially when they're against a crystal blue sky!

  8. Thanks, Travis, for noticing. I've lived long enough to know that if we don't see, feel, hear, smell, sense in whatever way what is around us, it's gone and we never have another chance. My life has not always been easy, but I love being old enough that I finally get it!

I sense that you are a younger man, and I like that you are aware of your world now. Enjoy it for a long, long time!

If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
