These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

See??????

Another red sunrise, just like every morning!

It was really pretty! And I don't think it is going to rain today, either. Jes' sayin'.   ;D

Red sun in the morning, Sailers take warning;
Red sun in the hills, Landlubbers have no ills.

  1. Well, I stand corrected. Very pretty though.

    And somehow I understood that you climbed those couple thousand feet the other day. I guess you just seem like you're in good shape there.

  2. Oh, I should not have confessed, should I? LOL! No, I knew you had that impression, thus the explanation. We did a lot of walking/mild hiking on the various trails. Most were not severe inclines, and I'd guess we walked close to a mile through the day. Not anything to impress anyone but MYSELF!! There was enough to make me breathe deeply, but no panting. I actually am in pretty good shape, Dave, but I'm not breaking any records, at all.

  4. Well I've never heard the saying that way! It is a gorgeous sunrise Lyn. That could be enough to make one's day right there!

  5. Oh, it surely does, Dakota!

    Di. I'm guessing you've never heard it because I made it up!! Just a silly retort to Dave's and Caroline's comments yesterday! And yes, seeing one of those sunrises can't do anything but improve the quality of my day. I was just thinking that even when I've awakened early and couldn't go back to sleep, the sunrise makes my day better.

  6. I haven't seen a sunrise in a long time! I guess I'm more of a sunset girl. I like to sleep in!

If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
