These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Yesterday's advenutre

Fog was abundant when we left the house.

The Farmer's Market has lots of interesting things, like this hanging plant.

This guy was "guarding" his spot, although he was behind the tent and was not at all threatening.

An abandoned shack. I just thought it was interesting.

This is the identifying  tag for the next picture. How could I not take a picture of a coffee tree!??

Da java producer.

A natural cave produced in the lava. I was surprised at how far back into the cave things were growing.

Shades of home!

  5. Freda, I understand that comment about warmth and color. I'm loving it!

Jen, it's a very special place, isn't it? Ahhhh.

MM, I'm not sure what it is, but I thought it was SO pretty, especially with the ocean in the backbround.

Di, we did sit there a while. It was very peaceful. BTW, walking through the grass to get there was an experience, because the thatch under the grass was 6-8 inches deep, so when you step, it sinks down! Surprising, but a wonderful, soft seat!!
