These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Sunny (at least partly) Sunday

Today the sun is in and out, with no hard downpour, at least not yet. The forecast sound like it might be heading for a more favorable weather pattern. Well, of course! I'm leaving!!  LOL! But Dell is still giving me credit for having broken the drought, so I guess a little claim to fame isn't a bad thing, right? That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!

The sky was gorgeous and we enjoyed a little while on the deck, soaking it in.

Then clouds began to collect on the horizon.

After a while, the clouds were getting pretty close. It actually started to rain lightly 15 minutes or so after this photo.

Tea leaves!

Oooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!

The neighbor's nanners!

One huge avocado trying to hide.

This one is actually smaller than the other one, but look at that size! They're not rip yet, dang it! (But there are some in the house that are!)

The back yard with tons of fruit-bearing trees.

The nice little deck where we spent as much time as possible.

OK, gonna go do something amazing. or at least fun!

  1. Omg. Those are fantastic pictures. Makes me want to move to Hawaii except I think living on an island would make me feel claustrophobic.

  3. I know I have no right to be envious, but I am envious. Everything is so beautiful there.

Also, is it camping if there is no electricity, running water or flush toilet?

  4. Mary, I wondered about that, but it doesn't seem to be so. I haven't had a sense of being limited or closed in .... well, except for the blasted rain!

Di, you should taste the avocados! They are SO much better than the picked-green-and-shipped things we get back home. Just yummy!

OK, OK, Pam! You can have your "camping"!! LOL! And, yes, it is truly beautiful here.

If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
