I've mentioned that my fibromyalgia gets worse when the barometric pressure is unstable. Does this explain it?
Gah. No wonder I'm uncomfortable!
Settle down, already!!
These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................
my muscle injuries hurt more when the barometric pressure is very low or very high - at least I think they do
ReplyDeleteI seem to recall reading about this but I don't remember where
feel better :)
Dianne, I'd bet you're right on. Soft tissues are responsive to the changes in the barometer, for sure. Almost everyone I know with fibro says the same thing. And thanks, I'm hoping to be back on top soon. Today isn't bad, but I could be better.
ReplyDeleteThat really is unstable! The graph looks like the U.S. economy.
ReplyDeleteYou're right, Nick, except that the economy doesn't go that high! LOL!
ReplyDeleteThe barometric pressure messes with my head. I get migraines when it is wonky. My sympathies to you!
ReplyDeleteMary, that would stink! Sorry you have that to deal with. Your comments made me think .... the brain is soft tissue, so it makes sense! LOL!
ReplyDeleteWow....I hope you are feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteDo you think the barometric pressure can play a role in mood? I have felt "off" all week and maybe this was part of the reason....
Barometric pressure can effect a number of things in our bodies, so I'm sure it will. After all, if the body is feeling some change it would automatically impact on the mood. Check what the pressure is in your area. Go to: http://www.wunderground.com/weatherstation/WXDailyHistory.asp?ID=KNMRUIDO3&day=11&year=2010&month=12&graphspan=week, and put in your own town. See what comes up.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your two thirds of a century. And the fact that you are still learning new things.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Freda. I figure that when I quit learning, I'm checking out! I'll always stay as much in the "student' phase as possible. :)
