These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

It's raining, and I'm in a dry spell

I'm in one of those dry spells. Every time I start to write, after a few paragraphs, I say "No, that's boring," and save it in draft, but when I reread it later, I'm still unimpressed.

I'll be back.

sigh.

  1. We all struggle through blogger's block now and then, so hang in. Remember that what may not be impressive to you may knock the socks off someone else! :) Glad you said howdy, though.

  2. TYR, I know, I get that, but I have not even been inspired enough to finish the posts. They feel like loose strings flapping in the breeze. It'll come, it'll come. Thanks for stopping!

  4. It certainly does, Judy. I know it will all come back, but I hate feeling like this!

  5. I understand. I'm feeling a bit burned out on blogging myself.

  7. It happens, doesn't it? I know I'll be back, just need a short break. Mercury is in retrograde, and that seems to affect communication. I've noticed before that my creative thinking tends to go flat during these periods. And usually when I plateau or have trouble in communications somewhere or there are lots of internet problems, I suspect a Mercury retrograde. And I'm usually right when I check the calendar!

  9. Freda, the usual pattern is that I whine about my inability to blog, and that seems to clear the air so I'm blogging again in a few days! I'll be back.

And as we see from all these comments .... It happens to the best of us!!

If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
