These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Comments appreciated.

Just sayin'.

Is anyone out there?

  1. I am here! Just been busy this week...not that this is something new! I love you!

  2. I understand. You and I communicate more often in other venues, so I know this blog stuff isn't always new to you, anyway.

It's just that I have 3-4 people who come and check regularly, but do not leave comments. I often read blogs without commenting, too, but I try to comment often enough to let them know I'm reading. The fun of a blog (to me, at least) is getting the comments and the thoughts of others. Oh well. I made the choice to make it private. My alternative would be to open it again with the hope that I wouldn't get the passive-aggressive emails any longer. Or I could start a totally new blog. But I feel this is still where I want it to be, the reflection of my journey without destination. Third option is to just give it up. :(

I'm just going to have to think about it some more and decide, I guess.

  3. I am sorry I love reading your blog and commenting cause you comment back, but my mind has been far far far away. Please forgive me Bobbie in Pa

  4. Oh, Bobbie, I understand your situation completely. Don't worry. Just take care of yourself and your healing. I whine about it, but I'll be here. :)

  5. Hea, I'm in. That wasn't hard. As you know, I put my own blog on hiatus as a protest to Google trying to be too manipulative. A few close friends and family have expressed some disappointment, but like you've indicated, they'd read my blog and never comment. What's the fun of a blog without the comments. It's the tree falling in an empty forest all over again.

    1. Excellent analogy, Dave! Thanks for the comment! Whew!! I can live another day now! chuckle

      And welcome!

  6. I just came here by chance Lyn. For some reason, since you posted about making your blog private, you don't show in my Google reader. You are still there but it never showed a new post. So I didn't know you were still posting.
My Gosh you must think I just stopped coming by or caring!! I guess from now on I will just click on your blog whether or not it is in bold print.
It appears I have a lot of catching up to do. I was wondering what happened to you as some blogger's I have followed for years, no longer blog.
I am so, so sorry. What you must have thought of me.
    Love Di ♥
P.S. I will read your past posts but I am hoping that you have been well and that everything is alright.

  7. Yeah, Di, now that the blog is private, it won't show up in your feed. Sorry for that, but there isn't a way around it. I wish I could block one person like you can on FB, but nope.

I'm generally well. Had a bad time back in March with whatever bug was going around, and the FMS has been at it's height all winter. ugh. But I'm OK. And I'm very glad you're back!

    Love ya, girl!

If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
