These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Whew!

Just a very short post. Ali is going to be fine. Yesterday, the eye was much more tender, and he wouldn't let me touch it as he did the day before. A trip to the vet made me feel much better about it all. He has a sty (or stye) in his eye, and was started on an antibiotic along with eye ointment. I think the abscess began draining last night as there was a dark red stain on my blanket this morning, about the size of a dime and located right where his head was most of the night, and the swelling is down part of the way. He is is a much better mood today. So am I!!

Gotta go get ready for a shindig tonight. More on that later!

When you dear four-leggers are healthy, it is easier to say ....

Life is beautiful!!!!

  2. Casey - Oh, yes!

Caroline - Me, too! I will give him the hug. He's been more cuddly, and I think it is because he feels better. I did have fun! I'll post about it soon.

  7. Yes because it is worrying as CRAP when there is something wrong with them and the poor dear things can't actually "tell" you. Yay for Ali!

  8. Patti - Mr. Ali is feeling pretty "YAY!" for the last couple days! When he started healing, he became lively and like himself again! Yeah, YAY!

In fact he felt so good that I went on the lam yesterday ... again ... from the Gallery, taking a leisurely stroll down the side street, smelling the flowers. Well, I think he was actually smelling the previous dogs' pee, but... Boy, was he in trouble.

If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
