These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Checking In

I'm a little better today, although I wouldn't say I'm "fine." Still just a bit in the funk. I don't know what is going on. I'm dealing, as I said, with some minor junk stuff in my life. I also have been hit with allergies (my only serious one is trees, and it is spring), and fibromyalgia has kicked up just a little. There is a full moon on Sunday. I just paid $3.55 for gas. Maybe it is a little of everything. I just don't know.

Anyway, I'm still not quite in the frame of mind to post, but I thought I'd drop by and check in. I will be back, I promise.

Meanwhile, if anyone wants in the PIF (see above post), you have till Monday to get your name in there. :D

  3. I am so sorry that you are not feeling a lot better. I would just take it easy this weekend and do things that you want to do; even if that means not getting dressed all weekend.

Let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

  4. Holy crap! Aren't gas prices insane??? What I want to know is this...why the hell are we paying through the nose and hearing about the shortage or whatever...and the freakin' oil companies are raking in record profits??? Doesn't anyone else see how wrong this is?

I'm glad to see you. I hope you're feeling better soon.

  5. Cost me $70 to fill up my car this week, and I'm hoping by the time the tank is empty to have a much more fuel (and wallet) efficient vehicle. Craziness.

Sorry to hear your having a hard time; lifting you up.

  6. Patti, yeah, we takes what we gets, don't we?

Ha, ha! I'm glad I only have ME to deal with this weekend!! :D

Beans, hugging me, bugging me ... whatever! Thanks!

Caroline, not getting dressed for a day or two is nothing new to me!! And that's not because of anything but that I enjoy it!

    Thanks, I will.

Traci, yeah, but I think it is "unholy crap"!! Especially when our tax dollars provide transportation of the travel of our lawmakers!! (I know, that a real tangent, isn't it?) I think almost everyone but those in control of the prices sees is as downright criminal.

    Thanks.

Kathy, I figured it out that at $3.55/gal and my 32 gal tank, it could cost me over $100 to fill that sucker!! I get good gas mileage in the truck, believe it or not, better than many mid-size cars, but it is just insane.

    Thanks.

    Daisy, thank you, my friend.
