These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

A Couple Better Pix of Max

I just took another look at that picture from the pound on the earlier post. Is that a sad face or what? I can't stand that look. So even though my haircut on him was not good, I had to get a couple up here that show the Real Deal MAX!!!

Oh, yeah, the bad haircut isn't as bad as that original pic. Isn't he a cutie? And when I get him properly groomed, he's gonna be a knockout!!

BTW, I've been brushing and combing him today to get rid of the tick carcases, and he loves being pampered! Both he and Sam love to be brushed or have their little backs and necks massaged. They just go limp! So to China and Ali! Little lovers, they are!!

  7. Casey, around here it certainly does!! Thanks you, so far he is a delight, and we're getting into a routine.

MJ, am I brave or addle-brained? The boys are fun, for sure, and keep me busy!

    Caroline, you got that right!!!

    Daisy, he is for sure!

Sherry, I think we will be a great team once we get over the breaking-each-other-in kinks. The love is there already. :)

  8. The best part of Love, is sharing it with others who are deserving and you have four deserving little ones.

  9. Reach, Isn't that the truth? I'm reminded these days that anything worth having is worth working for. Learning about each other, what each of us expects and needs from the other is, indeed, w.o.r.k. But we are making progress here!

Hey, Reach, feel free to take me time. That's what keeps us going!

  11. Sandra, I've already spotted a female I want to go rescue, but I don't think I can handle three of them. I really, really want to get her, but sensibility wins this round, I'm afraid.

  12. No new post from you today...my guess is you are planning your trip to get the female....

Again...you are the Brad and Angeline of the Animal Kingdom.

  13. Caroline, nope! I actually posted the cartoons today, but I uploaded them last night, then when I came back to organize them and make my comments this morning, I changed the time, but forgot to change the date!

If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
