These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Monday Evening

I've been trying several days to get a picture of Max doing something, but he moves before I can get the shot. Well, today I had an opportunity, grabbed the camera, and still missed it, but I did get this fuzzy thing! LOL! He stretches up with his front paws on the cedar chest and looks at the finches. He doesn't mess with them, he just watches.

I grabbed the camera and was ready to take the shot when he sat down. He looked at me with enormous innocence as if to say, "Me? I wasn't doing anything!" What you see here (almost!) is his innocent self sitting and watching them over his shoulder because he just couldn't stand not looking!

And these are .... well, just because!

It was an awesome sunset, as gentle and soft as you can imagine.

That's all!

  4. Melissa, it is, indeed! LOL! Yes, he studies them with great intensity. He doesn't seem to want to get to them, he is just fascinated by their chirps and movement in the cage, I think.
