These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

PS.

Just a little note regarding the picture of the hens and chickens in the previous post called CC, 9 ....those little plants were taken from my late husband's uncles home in Alamogordo, NM (he passed away in about 1990, so it was sometime before that). We took them to KC where they lived in our front yard for the ensuing 16+ or so years, before I came back to New Mexico in 2006. Now they are thriving on my front step. What a trip these little beauties have made!

BTW, they are "officially" known as: Sempervivum tectorum (Common Houseleek)

  3. My brother used to have some cactus, don't know if he still does or not. I stick with Geraniums & that's about it!
