These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Zzzzzzzzz

The dancing is going very well. But ....

I am taking a Dramamine before each lesson. You see, I have some hearing loss , and the inner ear isn't working like it should, meaning my equilibrium is out of whack. So when we do more than a couple spins, I get really dizzy. Not only do I get dizzy, but it sticks around for a while, five minutes at least. So I began taking the Dramamine to counter that. It is helping a lot, but about the time I get home, the sleepy-effect of the drug hits me, and I can hardly stay awake. Once in bed, I'm a goner!

Right now, I'm a goner.

Night.

  3. Dramamine makes me sleepy too. In fact I am not sure I could get through a dance class before it started to kick in.

  5. Sorry to hear that you are so tired. Last night I was emotionally done when I got home and went straight to bed; something that I never do.

Glad you are enjoying the dance lessons.

  6. HEY!!! How cool that you're taking dancing lessons. But I guess I would've known that before now, had I not been such a slacker in the blog reading dept. You know I still love ya though!

Talk to you soon. Nighty nite!!

  7. Daisy, I was afraid that I would have that problem, but, perhaps because of the activity, I haven't. And I have no trouble driving home, but usually at home, it isn't an hour before I'm nodding off!

Patti, ohhh, I'll bet you do have problems! I always had trouble with car sickness as a child, but I loved roller coasters throughout my teen/adult life until the hearing started to go. And now .... no thrill rides for me! :(

Caroline, I'm sorry you are having the ups and downs. That stinks. And I hope you're better today. :)

Dawn, yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't want to hear about it. You're just a bad, bad girl!! And yes, I love you, too!

  10. Red, yes! If I couldn't find a way to continue, I would be terribly sad.

MJ, interestingly, I have not had the problem on water, either the ocean in a liner, a canoe on a river or a speed boat on a lake.

If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
