Late in the afternoon, some storms rumble through. There were a few drops of rain, but it was mostly mild thunder. Jazi hated it, I thought it sounded pretty mellow. Then just a while ago, I looked out the window to the East and saw the clouds that had terrified and delighted us. What an awesome horizon!
These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................
beautiful.....

Thanks. I enjoyed it so much!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics. I used to enjoy thunderstorms too until Charlie started freaking out. When you have a panting, quivering dog laying next to you for hours it somehow takes the fun out of them!
ReplyDeleteI know about that, Deb! Jaz needs lots of reassurance, petting, cuddling. But I'm thankful that she isn't like my last storm-struck dog, Ali. His fear was at a frantic level, and if not contained, he tore up anything he could get his teeth and claws into. I lost many books during storms!
ReplyDeleteI love a thunderstorm and you captured it in picture and word perfectly! (sorry jazi!)
ReplyDeleteQueenie, I'm always split like that over storms. I actually love them (unless they are threatening to tear my home apart!) but I feel so bad for the babies who are afraid. We can't even explain it to them.
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures storms are amazing.
ReplyDeleteLyn I didnt see the pics, but I'm sure they are amazing, as usual.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Bobbie!
ReplyDeleteAnon, sorry you couldn't see them. They were purty!
