These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

It's Here!!

As soon the truck arrived, I put The Kids in the back yard. When the men left, I let them in and let them check the new sofa. Sammy barked at it! Poor kid just doesn't take change well.

Jazmyn made herself at home immediately.

Then she got down and Max began checking it out.

And checking it out! He sniffed at it for a good ten minutes! I wonder if the previous owner had pets, or if Max has never smelled a non-pet piece of furniture!

Before the guys left, one noticed a little pot I had sitting on the deck. It belonged to an aunt, and she apparently used it for her craft/paint brushes. It has little specks of paint on the outside. I've been using it for starting new little plants. Anyway, the guy picked it up and looked at it, then asked if I knew what I have there. I said no. He turned it over and pointed to the imprint on the bottom. He explained that it is "a Roseville." I don't know from nuttin', but he explained that it was probably made in the 1930s, and is likely worth about $80 to $90. I brought it inside the house.

OK, bye now. Naptime!!

~~~~~
PS - All six of us had a nice little half-hour nap. Ahhh. It works beautifully!
  12. Kim, thank you! And on the pot .... yeah! I don't know whether it is more important as the reminder of the aunt or for the potential cash. Yeah, cash! LOL!
  16. What would I have done, Nick, if they hadn't approved? Scary thought. I know, I need to check out more info on the pot. Hey, maybe the answer to my financial woes? Probably not, but it's a fun thought!
