These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Sunday Funnies

Everyone has his/her own way of picking melons. I 'spect this is a good tip to add to the list.

I know this person, but she is grown up now!

Uh-huh ....
And that's how kids stay alive, too!

Ooookay.

Oooookay again.

I need this!

There really is a bright side to everything, if you look for it!

Awwwwww!

OK, didja????

All I can say is .....
..... spitting doesn't hold a candle to the sports-style-nose-blowing technique that was caught on live camera during last night's game. gah.

I'm a softie. I love that my 4-leggers cuddle in the bed with me. If I ever have a man in my life again, I'm gonna have retraining woes!

So true. So sad!

I've always wondered about piƱatas!!

Ha ha!!

After that horoscope....

I love the logic of this. Kids rock!!!

Have a sunny Sunday, y'all!!!

I saw that last night too! How disgusting. I can't stand all that spitting and chewing like they're chewing on an old nasty piece of leather, but that blowing the nose into mid air was beyond gross!

  2. I'm sure neither the camera operator nor the player planned that, but you said it well .... it was truly beyond gross.

  6. My husbands mother (and mine) are both from Japan. The other day, my husband was joking about how he is surprised that he can even speak English. He mentioned that back when he was a kid, his family always called the "Funnies" the "Sunday's" and no one ever knew what they were talking about!

  7. Funny story! My dil is from Mexico, and at times she comes up with a fractured-English phrase that just makes us all, her included, giggle over!

If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
