These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Naps

At my house, we take naps seriously. I mean it. We take it to a whole new level.

First of all, get totally, completely, entirely, unbelievably relaxed .......

If your mom wakes you up with that damn camera, show attitude ......

Whatever you do, do NOT look at mom when she calls to you ......

And keep the attitude, even when the kid sister rolls over and looks cute while you're in huff-mode ......

And last, but not least, chase mom off the couch and coerce all your siblings to grab a snooze, too ......

You notice Sissy and I have the spot in the sun!!

If you're lucky, you can spend the whole afternoon like this and be fully rested when it is bedtime. Then you can drive mom crazy by starting a maniacal game of puppy-tag when she tries to get you and your buddies to go to bed. hee hee hee! That's the funnest part of it!!

If you want more details, call me, Jazi, at 555-12..... Jiggers!!! Here comes mom!!! shhhhhhh. I'll tell ya more later!

  1. I fully expected this to be Max. Which one is Max? Jazi for sure knows how to give a look with an attitude. If looks could kill.

  2. Max is the one on the back cushion at the left side of the last photo. He is most often on the back, as is Jazi. Today it just cracked me up when I saw Jaz rolled over on her back and completely splayed out like that!

Linda, if you want to take the time, here are three links where I have some pretty good pictures of the four older dogs. Lola came later, and she is quite distinctive because of her color and different kind of face. These might help you see the differences.
