These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Sighting, but not all good news

I'm near tears. I got a phone call a few minutes ago, and Max was sighted. The man tried to follow him, but Max was too fast and when Max got out of the snow, the man lost his tracks. Garrett is out trying to follow the trail.

He is about 1/2 mile from home!! Not good!! and he was heading the wrong way, away from the house!! I'm just sick about all this. Damn, why am I not home for him???????

  2. So sorry it's not better news Lynilu. I know how hard it must be for you not to just jump in your truck and head home right away. You are definitely caught between a rock and a hard place; wanting to be with your family and all the plans they have for you and wanting to be home so Max will come to you since he won't go to anyone else. I'll keep sending good thoughts and prayers your way that this story will have a happy ending for you and Max.

  4. Darn. Was hoping for good news since I remembered to say a prayer for Max's safe return last night. Hope he's not trying to follow you to Florida. Keep thinking positive thoughts. I will too.

  5. Check the new posting. This is getting freaking ridiculous! I swing from crying to laughing, mostly of it out of sheer stress!

I suspect he will be there when I get home and I'll get him in eventually. Then he's GROUNDED FOR LIFE!!!

If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
