These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Short & sweet

I am getting freakishly, freak-freak tired! But the sale is going well, so it is worth it. And I know Jim is as tired as I am, or even more so because, after all, it is his life, and thus his stress.

A fun thing .... I got to meet a Facebook friend who lives here in Tucson. My blog pal and Facebook pal Moni has a son here and a few months back we joined each other's FB lists. He came by the sale this morning on his way to an appointment, and although we were busy and he couldn't stay long, it was fun to be able to say hello! He and Jim visited a bit, too, making everyone's world just a bit fuller! I love the internet!

And I need sleep. I'll try to get caught up soon on news, although the next three weeks are insanely busy. But you know me .... I usually manage!

Till later.

  1. You have been a very busy woman Lyn so I suppose it's alright if you rest up a bit! It's nice that you got to meet one of your friends. I would love that someday! Love Di ♥

  2. I keep saying that I want your life (retired), but after reading all that you do, I think I will stick with my "get up and go to work" life for now. Damn...you are one busy woman. :)

Are the next 3 weeks busy because you will be busy shopping for my birthday gift??? :)

  4. Lyn so glad everything is going well. I bet Jim is so thankful you are there for help and support. Are you doing any "buying"? Anything there you just cant live without? LOL Take care and have fun!

  5. Ruth, a few small things I wanted to buy, but Jim gave them to me, of course. And I'm eying a couple more that I will grab if they don't sell. We'll see! And yes, I don't know what Jim would have done if I weren't here, not that I'm that spectacular, but he was overwhelmed. His daughter and son-in-law have been great help, but their schedules are insanely busy. It's good I came.

If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
