These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

A cliff view

This morning we drove to an are near the shore Where we could take a short hike to a cliff overlooking a nice cove. Boy was I in for a treat!!

Along the way I got some shots of interest. Here is a cross section of the day's eye candy.

I've never seen a cactus twist like this!

How sweet is this goat with his/her head nestled into itself while it slept?

These ladies didn't seem altogether thrilled with our presence, even though we gave them wide berth.

Surf's up!!! And boy, it was!

At first I just saw the legs and I thought this goat was a calf. then I saw the head!

Ironwood pine needles.  They are segmented like a reed.

Off in the distance, that is Maui! Do you Kim over there? I think I do!!

And here's a video. I love the sound of the surf! If you turn your volume way up, it might sound like what I heard. At one time Dell and I were sitting a couple feet apart and we could barely hear each other! It was roaring!! And it was awesome!!

One more? OK! I'm a pushover!

Quite a hike, quite a view! I loved it!

Aloha!!!!

  5. Once again...beautiful pictures.

When I saw your pic of the goats it reminded me of the goat farm D and I stopped at to buy some goat cheese. I wasn't too sure about trying goat cheese, but it actually turned out really good.

I like the last pic of you. You seem so happy and so relaxed.

  6. I've heard that goat cheese is easier to digest. I like it, anyway. Do you like feta? It's goat cheese.

    I am relaxed. Very!
