These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Hmmm.

OK, help me figure this out ....

I'm checking on parking while I'm on my trip. I can park at the airport for $8 a day = $48 total.

I can park at Holiday Inn near the airport for $3 a day = $18.

And, of course, there are several in between those in price and distance. Where do you think my truck would be safer? Where would you park?

  1. We usually park at a secure lot, but not at the airport. Be sure there is a courtesy bus. Our lowest is $10 per day. Everything cost more here!

  2. If we fly out of Denver, we leave our car at the hotel where we stay for free. There is a shuttle. If I fly alone out of Denver, I often leave my car at a secure lot near the airport. I don't remember what I have paid per day. I think you must just make sure the lot where you park is secure. It is expensive to park anywhere.

  3. I think secure is always better. Chances are nothing will happen at the hotel but it's probably better to be safe than sorry. I either park at the airport for $10 a day in Detroit or at a Park and Ride for $8 or $10 and take their shuttle. Thankfully this trip I had a ride so I didn't have to worry about the parking and was dropped right off at the door. Is that an option for you?

  4. I've always had someone who could take me to the airport before, but this time, everyone is tied up, so I'm on my own. I have found another secure lot that I overlooked before, right next to the airport and it is only $4 a day with a shuttle that runs every 5 minutes. I like that. It's probably where I'll park.

If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
