I'm tired of the ads.
I'm tired of the sniping.
I'm tired of the phone ringing with unknown phone numbers.
Do you suppose we will ever have "normal" again?
gah.
Sure, on the first Wednesday of November. I am so comfortable without TV this year.
ReplyDeleteLucky you.
DeleteWith all the laws and regulations we have in this country, you'd think they would have regulations about political ads. Me thinks--no phone calls, treat political ads as one large infomercial perhaps between 6;30 and 7 pm each evening for those who are interested in tuning in. I come from paper valley in Wisconsin, so mailers are OK..keeps the paper mills running!!! And a little boost to the post office!! Just my 2 cents worth!!
ReplyDeleteAh, but you see, dear .... Them thar politikials be the ones that dun't wunt them kinda regs!!!

Get TIVO and filter by caller-id. That solves a lot of the problems. But you are right I am tired of all this sniping. How did we get here?
ReplyDeleteI have caller ID, and I don't answer the calls. It's just that I"m tired of the phone ringing off the hook!!
DeleteAnd the atmosphere .... gah. What in the world is the matter with people???
I voted early so I would like to be exempt from the ads!
ReplyDeleteMe, too, Mary! Perhaps a device on the phone that blocks the calls once you've voted? Ooouu. That sounds very "big brother-ish," doesn't it?
Deleteand our facebook friends will return to their normal status instead of unpaid polital spokespersons.....
ReplyDeleteI totally, totally agree with you!
ReplyDeleteAnd we are in that last minute ugly vile junk phase. C'mon, Wednesday morning!!!
