These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. A Photogenic Morning

Such a peaceful morning that the cattle were lowing ....
Hello sweetie. Just checking in. I've never understood what the cattle lowing meant. I know, shame on my little farm girl self! Love the pics as usual!
Everyone - "Lowing" means a low mooing, or as my friend explains, a sound for cows that is like cats purring. However, I also remember my dad using it to signify that the cattle were peaceful enough that they could go down in the grass and rest. Perhaps the sound indicated the contentment to sink into the grass.
Burg - Thanks! I'm considering making my first "exhibit" to be a collection of wild flowers from Lincoln County. that is the trend that seems appropriate for here. and the ladybug ... that is my nickname for my daughter, so I'm glad that one turned out well.
