These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Just One More

I had to do one more thing before I put the paints away for a while. This one isn't fancy, no artwork, but it is something that just needed to be done.

I bought this little stool a year or so ago, and I love it. But the blond legs/frame on it just don't cut it.

Soooooooooo.....

I did a quick paint job on it yesterday afternoon, and .... voilĂ !!!!!

Ahhhhhhhhhh. Much better!

  2. Thanks! When I bought the stool I knew immediately that I wanted to paint it. I just kept putting it off, but I figured that if I took a break right now after spending so much time on the tables, it was just unfair! I'm glad it did.

  5. My parents would love garage-sale shopping with you, especially out in your part of the country. My father is particularly fond of American-Indian beadwork, pottery and stuff. Bet you find a lot of that out there.

  6. Dave, we d find lots of those things, but to be honest, it isn't usually at a garage sale. Those things get snatched up and are in shops. It's still possible to find good deals, however.

  7. Isn't it amazing what a coat of paint can do to change something to make it so much better.
