I had to do one more thing before I put the paints away for a while. This one isn't fancy, no artwork, but it is something that just needed to be done.
I bought this little stool a year or so ago, and I love it. But the blond legs/frame on it just don't cut it.
Soooooooooo.....
I did a quick paint job on it yesterday afternoon, and .... voilĂ !!!!!
Ahhhhhhhhhh. Much better!
These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................
I'm with you on this one, MUCH better than before. :)
ReplyDeleteyou did good!
Kim
Thanks! When I bought the stool I knew immediately that I wanted to paint it. I just kept putting it off, but I figured that if I took a break right now after spending so much time on the tables, it was just unfair! I'm glad it did.
ReplyDeletepretty! you are very creative!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Beanie!
ReplyDeleteYou have such a good eye for color!
ReplyDeleteThank you Queenie!
ReplyDeleteMy parents would love garage-sale shopping with you, especially out in your part of the country. My father is particularly fond of American-Indian beadwork, pottery and stuff. Bet you find a lot of that out there.
ReplyDeleteDave, we d find lots of those things, but to be honest, it isn't usually at a garage sale. Those things get snatched up and are in shops. It's still possible to find good deals, however.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing what a coat of paint can do to change something to make it so much better.
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing. And I'm having fun doing it, too.
ReplyDeleteI love that stool!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm pleased with it!
